I've now asked the Moderators three times, over the years, to "sticky" this thread, and all three times I've heard nothing back, except from the Moderator to whom I made the original proposal.. I think the answer is clear. There will be no sticky for the X-Kilt manual thread.

I'm not angry, it's up to the Moderators (and Sauron) if they want to do it or not, and the answer is that they don't want to do it. That's fine, though of course I'm disappointed. But there's no point in bringing the topic up again, so lets use the thread for what's it's for.....X-kilt construction discussion.

Mipi, I'd love to see your Excel spreadsheet.

    Mee too.
Perhaps you can post it in the "swap" folder or something with a note to PM you for copies. Maybe it will "stick"

    A word from the Moderators

Alan has the right to be really proud of his manual.

He has helped a lot of people make their first kilt.

The Moderating Staff understands that this is a valuable resource and we have been considering options to set up this up with some of the other popular how to's (The F-H.C.A.G. and David Dalglish's jacket conversion threads come to mind) as tutorials or in a separate section for easy reference.

For the time being I will put this as a sticky thread in the DIY (and the F-H.C.A.G. 's as well) until we can come up with a better place

    Cheers

    Jamie
