    The Clark crest I have seen ties into the "Clergy" connection. It is an emblem showing the burning bush (as in Moses) with the words "It was not consumed" (in Latin, of course) around it.

    My first kilt was a Clark/Clergy semi-traditional from USAK.

    The badge you also describe is the emblem of the Church of Scotland.
