Yep, that's the way I feel about it. I think that once you really get comfortable with wearing the kilt out and about, your confidence causes (most) others to see it just as an article of clothing, not a costume or something strange. That's been my experience, anyway. Often, people won't even notice I'm wearing a kilt - I'm sure it is in the "confidence" I exude when wearing it - since I wear a kilt basically full-time.
Thanks for the welcome, all. I've been lurking for a while, learning about kilts & such. This is a very informative forum, besides quite entertaining.
