I'm sitting here in my SWK Nightstalker atm and I'll tell you about it.
Compared to my What Price Glory WWI style kilt, it is light weight. But in the summer, I could use something lighter, like a Celtic Croft phillabeg. It's in between those kinda, but on the light side.
As for the fabric, it feels like the softest wool you've ever touched. I was considering making a kilt from alpacca wool until I bought this thing. This is a much simpler solution. Nothing could be this soft and gentle.
I will wear my SWK Nightstalker through 3/4 of the year probably. I would certainly wear my SWK standard to any formal function.
