it'll be with a PC, white shirt and black bow tie

Well that's a easy one then cream colour.
This is quite a classic look.
What are you doing about your flashes/garter ties?
My advice would be to try to get those in tartan to match the kilt you've chosen.

i've got cream hose already, so thats a good thing.

my flashes are to be made out of the same tartan as the kilt

Also the thing to remember is to look in the hire shop windows and see how they put the outfit together.
Anyway though I've seen this look many times, but still not a fan of the bow tie, but hey needs must !

ahh, your in Keith, i'm up your neck of the woods near the end of the month, i'm going to forres for a night out.
