The opposite of this is receiving a brand new kilt, kilting up, and going forth standing tall and proud and having no one notice the new kilt. No comments on the new tartan...nada...nil....no chance to share the joy....

Anyway, hope you're all having better ones today.
Splash, I can't understand how you could have felt grumpy when you looked as good as you do in that photo!!! It's the look to which I aspire but can never pull off. No wonder the girl wanted to check.

Looking good. You can't beat the kilt. In my experience it might be more trendy and blendy to wear denim cargo shorts but people just are not so friendly as they are towards the kilted.

"He was KIDDING!!!!"
That is absolutely priceless and hilarious. On a side note, I think my mom grows those same blue plants you have in your pic.

Splash, it appears to me that you are "blessed" with the services of a house elf who made your shirt invisible as a prank, and then later made it visible again just to keep you off balance.
Is there a more plausible explanation?
