My Balmoral (or waiting for my Clan Badge)
The mail man delivered my Navy Blue Balmoral from glengarryhats today, I am still trying to get used to it as I am not much of a hat person, however I did want something to put the new X-Marks Clan Badge on, this also explains the colour choice I made. Unfortunately my Clan Badge has not shown up as yet, but when it does I'll be ready.
I ordered a 7 1/4" Balmoral as this is the size of my other hats, I've found it to be a bit tight fitting this may be due to the fact that as I said I'm not much of a hat person. Once the X-Marks Clan Badge arrives I will of course get pictures of it and most likely wear the X-Marks Tartan Kilt as well.
It is as far as I can tell a very well made Balmoral and if I do need to have another I will order from Glengarry Hats again, you just need a wee bit of patience but it is well worth it in the end. Here is a hastily taken self portrait:

Very nice! I wish I could get my hubby to wear one of these (he's not much of a hat person, either). Looking forward to seeing it with the Clan Badge!

That looks great Glen! I like the balmoral caps from glengarryhats a lot and think they are rather dashing.
(Then again I'm biased)

I'm a twin, my twin brother has Blue eyes and mine are Brown so when I was growing up my mother dressed us in the same outfit, except he wore Blue and I wore Brown, perhaps I'm rebelling a wee bit now.

Glen,
The other great thing about the Royal Blue color balmoral is that it is going to look fantastic with your CCK X Marks the Scot tartan kilt!
Cheers

Looks good, Glen. I scrug mine closer to the brow, but we each have our preference. I wear a 7-3/8" and my Caubeen from Glengarryhats.com fits a bit loose. I'm fine with that fit as I could stand to loosen up a bit myself.

Jack I tried it close to my brow, however I found it a bit uncomfortable, I think I may just be somewhere between 7 1/4" and 7 1/2".
