No clue where you're headed in Colorado. I'm an Orvis Hot Springs junkie (Ridgeway) used to work underground in the mines above Ouray and Telluride in the 60s. Still enjoy going up there and tramping around kilted. Here are a few pics. Bottom line - it works great on the Western Slope.

These are all hand sewn kilts. They work great for hiking in the high country. Take your kilts and enjoy your hikes.
