So, we've had the threads about seating your kilted self in a car. . . in a coach airline seat. . . I'm looking forward to the thread about proper kilted entry into a tail-dragger (aka biplane)

I suppose there's only one way to find out: "Excuse me, sir, do you mind if I clamber into your Sopwith Pup here? It's for science...or history...or something like that." I'd do it!

Okay, added that pic of Alex climbing in the Stearman to my collection of Unusual Activities While Kilted collection.

And here's a pic of the Cessna Crane from early 1942 at British Refresher School in Imperial, California. That was where the Royal Air Force trained American pilots before shipping them to England.

And here, over 66 years later is Alex with another Cessna Crane

    So amazing.

And special thanks for helping me identify that old pic in my father's class yearbook for that training.

Not the most in focus (fortunately) because of the zoom, but what we have here is an example of Grant's repeated behavior of changing kilts in parking lots ...

And the last of the pictures:
    Alex getting his certificate:

    And one with our hostesses:

While we only have two with us in the picture, every Hooters Girl in the place turned our way and headed our way when we walked in the door. Alex and Darren's little friend reached us first.

thank you for posting that Video Wompet . Not shown was the mass exodus of our fellow patrons. I know it was due to Pete's efforts on the pipes. Men running knocking over little old ladies, women screaming trying to protect their children shielding their eyes...

    ...Ears, I mean.
