Ahhh, I do so love the edges of kilt fashion. It does work well since the shirt and hose seem to match well.
And thank you, I was just considering the same look for my new Antarctica tartan kilt...you're helping me visualize that orange over orange with a kilt in the middle look.

Umm, I'm not sure I want THAT much attention. Wretching on the sidewalk would certainly gain more attention!

Ron I didn't realize that there is orange in the Antarctic tartan, gold I believe. I think mustard would go well in your case. Cranberry in Mike's case. I do have a pair of ancient hose garters from Matt for my Weather MacLachlan and was struck by just how orange they were.

You'll be stopping traffic.
You're a real handsome fellow an' a' that an' a' that, (not my type, mind you, bit large and furry and a' that), but I fear you look a bit too much like the state tree of Georgia: one of those barrel-looking things they use for road construction.
It doesn't really look bad, just . . . very bright. I wouldn't mind being seen with you at the next SEKS outting, but I would definitely want to tone it down for myself.

Well I certainly never thought of wearing orange with my Hunting Mackinnon, but then it would honour my dutch side of the family...I think it looks kinda funky. I like it.

I thought I recognized that avatar... MacKinnon Ancient Red?

One of the MacIntyre tartans is only readily availalable from Lochcarron in ancient colors, including red, which comes out as orangy. I wear it in a tie, but I'm not bold enough to get it in a kilt, yet. I suspect the modern colors are too dark.

A bit bright, but it looks pretty good on you. I don't know if I could pull it off though.
