Sounds like you need a UK with a modesty strap.

Somehow "bicycle" and "pub crawl" don't belong in the same sentence. . . hard to drag the bike behind you when crawling toward the umpteenth pint. . . int:

I wasn't in a kilt on the 4th, but I spotted one on a fellow on his way to see the fireworks at the Augusta, Georgia, riverfront. I think it was a Buchanan casual.

As for me, well, the practice that I've had being the odd man out in a kilt came in handy when I walked into a pool hall looking for a bite to eat before a concert I was planning to attend. Because it was a patriotic-themed concert, I decided to wear a navy blue shirt, red belt, white pants, and red docksiders. Yeah, it sounds really queer, but trust me, I blended right in - at the concert.

Every head turned at the pool hall, where the standard attire involved scruffy tee-shirts and jeans apparently reclaimed from garage. I was hungry, so I just pretended that I was in a kilt, held my head high and made a bee-line for the bar to order a burger and beer.

    Regards,
    Rex.

A belated happy 4th from on this side of the pond!

No kilt for me on Friday, but I had one on all weekend at the Forres Highland Games and at Culloden.

    Cheers

I wore my x-kilt all weekend. Sporran saved it twice from beer spillage. It did get a little bit on it, so it needs a wash. I finished my camo x-kilt Sunday and lounged around the house all day in it.

I would have been kilted, but I was in my Cub Scout Leader uniform all day. Our boys helped with the Flag Ceremony at our towns annual 4th of July festival, and then we helped with the Pack's fund raising tent.

I had considered it for that evening to watch fireworks, but with the way that the mosquitoes are this year, decided against it. There are just some places I don't want a mosquito bite.
