    The problem I have with a kilt like that is that I'd be scared poopless to wear it. And who wants a kilt they don't wear?

    Actually my friend's father is a museum curator who has a war-room with a mannequin dressed as a WWII era Gordon Highlander. Maybe I need my own war-room for sipping scotch...

    Indeed...reading this thread reminds me of when I watch the old version of "The Red Badge of Courage" with Audie Murphy and see all those Hollywood extras wearing original uniforms, kit and carrying weapons from the Civil and Spanish-American Wars...it makes me break out in a cold sweat just thinking about it.
