Toronto Hippo Tours provide 90 minute amphibious tours of the main tourist attractions. You can save 10% with this coupon.

Depending on your sense of adventure, and continuing the theme of waterfront activities, Harbourfront Canoe and Kayak Centre offers canoe and kayak rentals and instruction. You can paddle across to Toronto Island. The city also has regular ferry service.

I'd strongly suggest not doing the zoo in this heat as it is so spread out. 'Yaking in T.O. Harbour sounds fun poking in and out of the islands but be warned they can get quite a chop going on open water. I curious as to what happend to the Rochester-Toronto ferry.

Agreed on both counts. If that ferry had succeeded, we'd probably be taking it.
