Made myself a modified sporran strap

Very nice. I'm in the process of finishing a regular forum strap and just riveted the buckle on. I have to apply the leather finish tomorrow and I should be done. I've spent too much money at Tandy this past week. *sigh*

Tell me about it. I was having a severe case of jonesing while I was in there.

You will find that for $20 the leather punch, rivet tools, and such are quite handy to have about.

A good investment for future projects and repairs.

Too true, and I already have more ideas. They carry 3/4 inch wide leather (perfect for sporran straps) for $14.00, enough to make two sporran straps.
