Frugal Corner fly plaid
I ordered a fly plaid from Frugal Corner to match the Macpherson Modern kilt I bought from them. I ordered it last Tuesday. According to the post office slip, it arrived yesterday (Monday), for a six day turnaround.
On to the fly plaid...
It measures 44" by 44" which, when you think about it, is rather an odd size. It is fringed all the way around, and is made from the same material as my kilt, so it matches perfectly. I see no obvious mistakes in the weaving. I am happy with it, it should meet my needs rather well.
Oh, I suppose I should add that this is a square piece of tartan. There are no pleats sewn into it.

Really? Good to know. I had been toying with the idea of getting one from them, only in order to match the kilt I got from them. The wool plaid I have is much more muted than their version, it seemed worth getting one from them for a better match.

Now I have to wait for the pin, which is coming from somewhere else.
