That's a great looking sporran. But you're standing in the shade. Take another picture in the sunlight this afternoon so we can better see the fur.

Now who would do a thing like that?

It's a fine looking sporran Jamie. I like the deep dark color of it. I'll have to say though, that mine with the white stripes looks so much better.

They are very nice, the Ferguson Brit Sporrans. At the Taste of Scotland both Matt and Ronan showed theirs off to me. They were both wearing the beaver as well. The Beaver is my 2nd favorite. My favorite one is the Bobcat sporran.

Jamie, thank you for revealing what the F-H.C.A.G's gift was - it is superb. I have not seen one like it (and had not, until now, heard of Fergusson Brit). I guess I should re-visit Matt's website - it has been quite a while.

The fur looks deliciously soft, and I confess I should like to stroke it - when you are NOT wearing it, of course!!!!!

    Take care,
    Ham.

Hamish, these sporrans are amazing, the leather cantles, the amazing fur - mine is in natural Canadian Beaver with a black leather cantle. And they have a really unique sporran strap with no hardware. They are truly masterpieces.

    Jamie,

I saw that package leave the shop a while ago, and was wondering when it would make its appearance here on X Marks. It looks grand!

Hamish, here's where this line can be found:

We just took in some new muskrat Glengyles which we'll be offering at a sale price, so be on the lookout for those to be added sometime today.

    Aye,
    Matt

I absolutely love my ferguson britt sporran, and actually haven't lusted after another sporran since i got mine. I admit that i really like the 2 stripe skunk FB sporrans and the bobcat ones, but the beaver one that I have (naturally very dark Canadian beaver fur) is just gorgeous and while it'd be nice to have another, I'm perfectly satisfied =D
