Wow. The first time I walked the dog out in the neighborhooda few weeks ago, I got whistled at by men in a truck driving by - it's one of those road construction trucks loaded with orange cones.

I thought it was funny too but your experience is a hoot. Good on you for that bow at the end.

Get one of those Hi-viz ones in reflectorized fabric (something about that just got recently posted on here). That'll surely attract attention.

Sounds like you handled the situation perfectly. If you get angry that just eggs them on but laughing along with them shows that you aren't bothered so they are more accepting.

No-can-do on Kilts in Prison.

I've already petitioned my Captain and Director to let me wear it, who flat out shot me down outside performing with my Pipes for an Officer's Funeral.

Not that I relish the idea of being Kilted in front of a bunch of convicted men, who haven't been near a woman's biology in years either...
