Mine was happy. She thinks it is very cool and loves the fact that I am proud of my heritage. She also likes the way I look in it.

Twas my good lady persuaded me to wear a kilt for our wedding, shortly after which I purchased my tank. She finds my Workmans Utilikilt a bit odd but doesn't complain when I wear either. I refrain from commenting when she wears trousers, so that seems fair to me

My wife has always been supportive, her mother always tells me that she likes it when I wear my kilt. My daughter loves to go to the highland games, she thinks that men in kilts are "hot".

I'm no longer married and I'm not currently in a relationship but I do know this, if I do enter a relationship in future, the lady will be happy with me in a kilt.

    Why?

I wear the kilt full time now, so it's not likely that she'll see me in anything else except perhaps at home when I don shorts instead and then only because I have a cat and like to keep cat hairs off my kilt.

Perhaps we single men have a bit of an advantage over the marrieds in this instance.

Mind you, I do envy (in a good way) you kiltarians who have fully supporting partners. Something I aspire to
