I completely agree with everything else Alan has said, but why not flannel? I've just read posts where members talk about using their SportKilts (for example) as the equivalent of sweatpants, PJs, and "what I wear between getting out of the shower and getting dressed." So why not a comfy flannel X-Kilt? 
{I get all the exercise I need from pushing my luck, jumping to conclusions, and dodging responsibility!}
