    shirts

I am looking at making some shirts to go with kilts and need opinions on the styles so I know if its something that would work or not. Any help and input would be great.

    Thanks CWKchic

I would wear either one of those.....in a solid color. But that's because my kilts are all tartan. With a contemporary solid color kilt, I would go with the stripes.

The pattern of either is good for kilt wear. If you have a choice of colour, try picking up one of the minor hues from the kilt, otherwise white or off white will always be OK. I would personally avoid a striped shirt with a tartan kilt. But that is just my opinion, for what it is worth.

It could work but I think it's pushing it. I'd prefer solid.

I like the top shirt. The bottom one is a little too pirate for me to consider wearing day to day.
