We will be there most of the day Saturday and maybe on Sunday before we drive back down to the lowlands. We should pick some time and place to meet.

    I'll be there as well

My wife and I will be traveling to the games for the Barclay AGM. We will be there Saturday for sure. Barclay will not have a tent at the event so we will be spending the day wandering around. What should we expect in the way of weather?

Anything and everything. It is too early to tell right now for sure. I've seen it so hot that everyone not wearing a kilt was in shorts and I've seen 4 inches of snow on the ground. I've seen it sunny with not a single cloud in the sky and I've seen it so overcast that the clouds seemed to be sitting on the ground. Even with the variety of weather, it's a beautiful place for highland games.

I would suggest that you check weather.com or your favorite weather page on the web before leaving. Also, be sure to bring some type of jacket and whatever you would use for rain gear. Don't forget the sunscreen. The sun at altitude will burn you before you know it. Most importantly, have fun.

Thanks for the heads up on the weather. Sounds about like TN weather minus the snow. And I'll make sure to bring plenty of water. I'm excited about the trip. Not just the games but the beautiful surroundings as well. I do hope that we could gather for a quick meet and greet. Looking forward to it.
