I told him mine was St. Patrick and he replied that Patrick was a Welshman that had been enslaved by the Irish. How interesting. I knew Patrick was a Briton, but didn’t realize he was Welsh.
The Welsh say he was from Wales. The Scots claim he was from Strathclyde. :-)

I think a lot of historical religious figures are mistakabley claimed by one nationality or another. Although St. George was Turkish, wasnt he?
