Hmmm . . the first part "Clan na Gael" (or, the Irish spelling "Clann na nGael") is translated as "family of the Gaels". I'm not sure what the second part of the phrase means??
There was an secret society created here in the USA in 1867 called "Clan na Gael". It was created after the Irish Republican Brotherhood (in Ireland) and the Fenian Brotherhood (in USA) failed. "Clan na Gael's" purpose was to work for Irish Independence from the United Kingdom . . and that it favored direct and, if necessary, violent action to achieve its ends.
I don't think the phrase on the buttons have anything to do with the organization. I just thought it would be an interesting tidbit of information .
Oh . . and . . from "Karst Kountry" . . beautiful Central Kentucky, USA
