Regarding UK v. Tartan it seems more people recognize tartan more readily as a kilt than contemporary kilts.
Yes, I just wondered. In Germany there is a group of men wearing skirts, rather than kilts. And men in skirts have several times been shown on German television channels.
A contemporary kilt should come out much better than a skirt, I should think.

Where did you get those shoes... those are some pretty cool dress shoes.
Actually they are not dress shoes but rather casual. I have bought them two months ago in Germany by the way. I thought they might look good with kilts. The brand is Geox and the price was 119 EUR as far as I remember. It should equal approx. 180 Dollars.

Thank you. By the way, when walking in a street in Köln a young man and his girl friend, I suppose, came towards me.
When we were passing by each other he raised his hand, pointed at my kilt and said: "THAT's cool!" and then he looked at his girl friend.

You're just saying that because oyu know that Fuji guts Nikons and puts new stuff in them. Legend is that my S2 still has a film counter in it, though its a digital camera...

the Nikon vs Canon people usually respect the Fuji, its a name everyone knows but yet still a fringe camera brand to be using many times. If only I could afford the S-5....
