I have not paid attention to the content but I would believe others who have stated that the non -white/ cream Scotishlions have a fair amount of wool content.
As to wear I have only worn them a couple of times [been concentration on other things this summer] but they are quite comfortable and stay up well on my skinny legs.

    cheers

I called Scottishlion a few months ago about another item and asked them about the hose, and the customer service person said their website lists them as acrylic but only the white ones are acrylic while the colors are indeed about 70% wool. I too am 6'5" although my inseam is only 34 inches, but mine also go well up my thigh before I fold them over (several times I might add). I have several pairs and can attest to their wool content (at least my wife can as she is allergic to the wool and reacted to the colored pairs I bought but not the white). Well made socks for the price, in my opinion.

Scotweb also carries some of what they call highland socks which also are quite long with some interesting color patterns for the foldover tops, albeit a bit more expensive. They too are very nice (I have a couple pairs of them too) and long. Stretchy too.
