Unless a customer lives local to the Kiltmaker it is very rare for us to know how our product stands up to a full years worth of wear.
With the impersonal nature of the internet, most times an order comes in-a kilt goes out. And that is the last you ever hear about it.
Thank you Perldog for this "One Year Anniversary" review.
It truly seems that you have taken this kilt through it's paces.
I'm glad that my product has given you your moneys worth. I know that my Kilts are not the cheapest on the market. I know that I do not offer "Instant Gratification" with Kilts sitting on the rack waiting for someone to plunk their money down. But to us at Freedom Kilts there is a long term definition of value.
Design a Kilt with Traditional Styling that will be worn with pride. In other words, design a "Classic" not a "Fad".
Build a Kilt to last for years of daily wear. Quality materials and attention to the little details is the key.
Custom fit each customer with a kilt that looks good on their body shape not some "Average" mannikin.
Allow the customer to specify the options that fit their lifestyle. Don't put a pocket where it will never get used. Make the kilt fit the job and never expect the customer to "get used to it 'cause that's what I make".
A review like this is worth far more to me as a Kiltmaker than anything else.
Thank you.

I wear the kilt because: Swish + Swagger = Swoon.
