Two years ago I started wearing kilts exclusively - to work, play, shop, etc. In all this time I have only heard one negative comment and it was from someone driving a beatup pickup truck who looked as though taking a bath was not a top priority. Since I work in a business office located in a large business you would expect to get a wide range of comments. Not so. All have been complimentary, expecially from the attorneys and accountants that work in the building. Of course I wear dress shirts with my kilt (I currently have 18 - including solid color Boulder Kilts from SportKilts for the office and solid color kilts from Utilikilts.). Now no one pays any attention.
When shopping it is the women who pay compliments and they are not bashful when doing so. So, wearing a kilt 7 days a week is now as natural a thing as wearing pants once was.
At the boarding stable where my two retired horses are it is fun to watch all the other horses when they see me coming because they now know that the pockets of my Utilitkilt are filled with horse cookies and they expect to get a treat.
A kilt for all seasons, for all reasons. Easy to do. Oh, and ALWAYS regimental.
