New Albany, IN, my hometown.

Saturday morning, 56 degrees, perfect weather for a BW kilt, hose, tweed waistcoat and kilt jacket.

Had to go to the post office and then to the YMCA so off I went.

At the post office there was this dad with his 2 kids ahead of me and they turned (as people do in line to check everyone else) and they see mw, a man with a skirt and jacket, so they whisper to their dad (loud enough to be heard of course, they are kids after all) 'there's a man with a skirt!' so their dad turns to see and smiles at me and tells the kids that it is a kilt, and it is a traditional scottish garment and men can wear them, so the kids looked back at me and said 'that's cool looking!', I replied something to the effect of 'and comfortable too' and that was it.

Then at the YMCA, the HAWT admissions clerk was all smiles and asking about the kilt, what was the ocassion, of course my reply was 'it's saturday, another good day to wear a kilt'.

And the best part was when she tells me 'im glad you registered so maybe we can see each other more often', to which I had to honorably reply 'im sure my wife will appreciate that', winked at her, smmiled and left feeling like a million bucks.

oh the power...
