Portland is a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.
If I have to visit Portland I take the Max train from and back to Hillsboro.
My daughter Kym and one of my sons David live there and I did for a short time many years ago.
When I go to Portland I always go kilted and have never gotten any bad remarks.
I have been to Powells on many occasions. One could spend hours getting lost in there main store.
