The Preacher's kilt looks like a Clergy Sports kilt. Is that the kilt you are talking about?

Very nice Pics. I have always wanted a wool Wallace kilt. I have the wear around the yard SWK economy model.
Great grandfather was a Wallace from PEI.

Actually no, it was ordered out of Pakistan as a "sample" before I found X-marks, and all of the great suppliers here. Some one mentioned The Frugal Corner, and bingo there is my "sample" http://www.thefrugalcorner.com/photo...ark-clergy.png !

Never underestimate a business guy; the "sample" kilt cost me more than the Frugal Corner would have! Ah, live and learn.

As to the apron showing, this was only the second time I had worn it, at least I didna have the pleats in front! (Thank you, NightHawk)

As to the future of this kilt, I have worn it several more times, it is a fairly heavy weight kilt, very comfortable. It now hangs on the rack with two more from SWK, I am now Jonesing for Jackets......Maybe a ligher weight clerical tartan, a wool Lindsay, a handwoven Birse, maybe a couple of UK's.......Rabbit, What Rabbit?

You're welcome. Always happy to help where I can.

So- next word of advice from me: If you want a solid color modern kilt, I personally swear by Amerikilt. They're about half the price of a UK, and in my opinion, just about as good. They don't have as many pockets, and the material is lighter, but at half the price, you can't go wrong- two AK's for the cost of one UK. Here's the website: http://www.amerikilt.com/

And a picture of me in mine:

I had been crawling around battlefields for a week before this picture was taken, so I look baked and sun dried... so you'll have to forgive the frazzled appearance!

And a much better one (of me anyway!).

I got that shirt as a gift for preordering A Matter of Life And Death. Yeah, I'm a hardcore fan. One of my favorite combinations is my Killers hockey jersey and my Black Stewart kilt.

And not to highjack the thread, but... SportKilt Clergy.

    Many congrats and fine photos.
As a professional wedding photographer myself, I LOVE to document kilted weddings, because I get to work kilted!

(I had only one kilted wedding this year, but it was for a young Brother Master Mason as well so doubly enjoyable.)
