Brian, the tintypes look great. The guy that did mine is Wendell Decker (Vintage Image Studios). Wendell is great. I've been involved in reenacting for over 19 years and, this was my first tintype. I want to grab a few more at different events and eventually, an ambrotype.

Here are a few color photos, from a few different events:

I am "checking on the wounded" during the morning battle at the 144th anniversary of the Battle of Perryville, Kentucky (I was the "acting" Battalion Surgeon for 3rd Battalion, 2nd Brigade)

3 of my very great friends from my unit (and yours truly on the left) during the 144th anniversary of the Battle of Perryville

Here I am showing a Cub Scout the various period medical equipment and supplies that were used during the ACW at the 2007 Scout-O-Rama inside of Churchill Downs

Living History at Fort Duffield (West Point, KY). Here I am removing a bullet from the arm of Private "Joe"

2 of my pards from the Tar Water Mess (I'm in the middle of course :mrgreen

And of course, my "toys" (as my wife calls them). These are some of my period medical equipment and supplies.
