Wow. Hadnt even thought about that. Glad I asked before just heading to the cleaners.
Will give the tutorials a look over and see what I can do on my own.
Thanks for saving me some possible major headaches.

I absolutely agree with Riverkilt. Stay away from Dry cleaners. There are some people that use them, but they know them well and trust them to do it right. Dry cleaning a kilt isn't an easy task from what I hear, and can be easily messed up.
There are many alternative options as Ron has said. If you use the search function you'll find many a thread regarding the issue.
