    Brown leather stuff

Crikey it's not even christmas. No wonder I'm skint! I recently aquired a brown kilt belt, brown Jackobite style sporran and brown sporran strap. I was after a brass buckle but couldn't find anything suitable from a UK source so I settled for a silver and Black enamel. Not perfect but it does turn down the buckle alot which was the point of getting brass. The leathers don't match up too well either but I don't suppose you'll see that from a passing bus.

I have a Bruce Modern 8 yard strome in the making and I thought brown accessories might work with it. Trying them out here with my Macleod of Harris ancient and Lovat Blue hose.

Sorry about the quality of some of the pictures but the batteries in my camera are a bit tired.

Also... apologies for the goatie. it's gonna go!

Also... sincere apologies to my wife for putting my foot on the table... I don't know what came over me!!

Only if you want it to go, I rather like it.

Just tell her that the kilt made you do it!

I prefer brown leather to black, unless formally dressed. Looks great!
