Very nice hats! And that brown kilt belt, I love! Makes my decision harder as what to pair with the MacPherson Red kilt I'm waiting on the ok to order from you lol. I gotta hunt around to see what options I have for a brown day and simi-dress sporran.

    Question

As they are sized SM, MD, LG etc... , what is the sizing like on these? ( I generally wear a 7 1/8 )
Order of the Dandelion, The Houston Area Kilt Society, Bald Rabble in Kilts, Kilted Texas Rabble Rousers, The Flatcap Confederation, Kilted Playtron Group.

I don't presume to speak for Rocky but I sent an email this morning with a sizing question for the Flat Caps. I am 59cm or 7 3/8 for hats and Rocky says as that's his size I"d be just between the med and large with the med being a tad tight. Since I'm wear my hair pretty thick in the winter I'm going with the large.

(His reply to my email was within a very few minutes of my original on Thanksgiving morning yet.)

My hat size is US 7 1/2" - 7 5/8" (depending on the hat maker): 24" actual head measurement, or 61 cm for the metric folk. I have a Hanna flat cap in a Large that fits perfectly. A Medium would be unwearable.

The Hanna flat caps are very well made! Mine's a black woolie (they do make a linen version that's available in a couple of colors). I've used and abused it for over a year and it still looks new--even after numerous gigs where I tend to sweat when the going gets going (so to speak). Hanna makes a quality product!

just to clarify, 7 3/4 is MUCH bigger than 59 CM. Do you mean 7 1/4?

    CRAP.

My fingers got ahead of my brain (not the first time).

    That was supposed to be 59cm or 7 3/8 NOT 7 3/4.

    Editing the original post.

    Thanks Rocky.

I am also a 7 1/8 and generally order in Medium when dealing with hats sized in that way.
