Got one hanging in the closet you are welcome to, my friend. PM me an address and she will be on her way to you. But I will demand pictures in payment-----posted here on the forum, mind you, but most likely in the "kilt do's and don'ts" section.

Take a look at this one. A tie it yourself. Plan on getting it to go with my "Isle of Skye"

Dee isn't the only one who will be "ruched" in the presence...

Ruche ties? They're OK if the colour doesn't detract from the kilt - but they should always be worn with a high (5-button) vest/waistcoat.
If you have a PC with a low (3 button) vest you should be wearing a bow tie (and one that you tied yourself if you wear wing collars. Nothing looks worse than the clips of a made-up bow tie on the side of a wing collar...

Oh, no Glen! You were giving it away, getting rid of it, which was absolutely the correct thing for you to have been doing, apart from ritually burning it!! If Dee is now going to wear it, of his own free will, then he must suffer the consequences. Hurrumph!
Take care,
Ham.

I like the ruche, but don't have one yet. I've seen it substitute for the semi-formal black bow tie a couple of times.

I had to go to a formal wear men's clothier yesterday for another reason and I asked about ruches. They had the old-fashioned ascot/cravat, but no ruches.
