    I had to vote for the Sherrifmuir because it seems so very versatile. It looks as though it would flatter a broad range of body types, too.

    Hmm, ought it to be velvet? I think someone has posted pix of a handsome blue velvet one.

    For the formal end of the spectrum, the Sherriffmuir seems to demand a bias-cut tartan waistcoat. The most striking examples I've seen look like they have 6 buttons arranged in 8 "spaces" sort of a 00_00_00. Is that how they are laid out? There are others with 5 buttons evenly spaced...
