I understand that the flaws don't interfere with the usability, but are they noticeable?
On mine, one of the D-rings on the little strap for a belt constantly turns around, not a big deal, but annoying. For a long time I was also pulling thread out of the zipper, it doesn't seem to be attached to anything (I think it is just the small bit of fabric that holds the zipper), and it has finally stopped. The velcro on the inner flap is starting to peel away as well (some fabric glue will fix that). Finally the part that holds the belt strap thing is starting to give.
Now having said all that, I have had this sporran for at least two years now, and wear it quiet often so it has seen heavy use.

I like my cargo sporran as well. I glued the tassels down and they look fine but no "tap, tap."

Sounds like the irregulars are a good deal. I'm gonna try to grab the next one that's available. Thanks, guys!

Thanks for posting those Tetley. That's an effective improvisation.
