I was taking tobacco out of the barn to get ready to strip the leaves off the stalk. Taking it out of the barn is a job that requires one to climb up into the rafters of a barn, and then standing with legs about 3-4' apart on the rafters, while handing down sticks full of tobacco stalks down to others looking up to you for the sticks.
And in the middle of it, all I could think was it's a good thing I'm not wearing a kilt.
