Actually, Southern Breeze, some of that sounds like what I've been looking into for the last ten years out here in the desert suburbs. Things like low-tech hydroponics and hydroculture; the use of Opuntia cacti for all kinds of things including water purification; gray water management with passive irrigation grids; native and naturalized desert food crops; and living in a disposable, alumanum box... Oh ya, the compost and worm farm that makes it all work.I was going to sell the place and move into a small apartment back in the city, as well as, squeeze a traditional kilt and outfit out of the sell off. Then, things got a little weird econemy wise, so I'm thinking maybe I should stay put. I had shut everything down but the fig and citrus tree factory and the tortoise food, though.

Maybe I will click on the link...
