Ok, so every year at 99:30 pm on Christmas Eve, I get to pipe the pig, pudding, and Yule log in at the Resort that I play at every night (7 nights a week). so I finally got (almost all of my uniform for this year done. Earlier in the year I had been searching for info on my Grandfather's (who turned 93 this year) two half brothers that severd in a british/scottish regiment during WWI. I was able to find them and their service records and finally uncover what regiment they were in: 2/10th Battalion (Scottish) King's Liverpool Regiment, also later known as the Liverpool Scottish. This uniform is based on the WWII uniform worn by the 1st Bn Liverpool scottish who were attached to No.4 Independent Company who performed raids in Norway in 1940...If you can notise the shoulder patch of the No.4 on the 55th Infantry Div Patch. ANYHOOOOOOO...sorry for the history lesson...I got everything in EXCEPT the new Sporran badge, and of course I dont have a Forbes Tartan kilt as worn by the regiment, so I wore my Matt Newsome special in the Modern Ancient (oxymoron) Fraser out of respect for my Step-Father who got me into all of this.
Ok so here are the pics....
The first one is the best out of the lot...I think:

This is the second best showing the pipers insignia:

And finally the cap badge that I put on my crossbelt..It is the WWI version that would have been worn my my two Great Half uncles:

Thanks for looking and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Cheers,
Chad
