LOL, no not really. I've been around Americans (from all parts of the States) since I got into American Football back in 1982. We had Americans playing on our team in Glasgow who came from the Navy base.
Then I also spent six years stationed at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, working mostly with the American lads 'n' lassies. That's where I met my now wife, she was TDY there from Little Rock AFB...and the rest, as they say, is history.
Arkansas has it's own "flavour" for sure (flavor if you prefer!) but for the most part, it was no real culture shock
