Reading this thread, I can only say that I agree with most of posted comments.

Yes it looks nice and yes I see it more like a costume. And this is the only reason I wouldn’t wear it, while I see the kilt as an ordinary (every day) garment, and as a costume only on special occasions.

On the other hand; it’s your garment and if you like it, no one should try to stop you!!!!!!!!!!!
