I've purchased 1 kilt from them and would do so again.
Here's a thread of mine about Scottishkilts.net

Do a search on this site for Scottishkilts.net and for Tartanweb
There have been a lot of good reviews and comments (good and bad) about the company.
I myself have purchased an 8 yard premium 16oz wool kilt, a 8 yard standard 13 oz wool kilt, a tweed argyle and waistcoat, a seal skin dress sporran, a quaich, and several pairs of hose from them. Sometimes they don't return your email right on time and sometimes the post is a day off, but those are issues I have had with almost every company I have every dealt with. On a whole Scottishkilts was a pleasure to to deal and I was able to get a lot of really good products of a great nature for a very reasonable price.

I've read some negatives about the communication, but I have bought things from them about 5-6 times now and have been pleased with the quality of the merchandise and the delivery time. The merchandise seems to be exactly what they show. This includes at least 3 kilts, two Argyle jackets, and a Prince Charlie.
I consider them a reliable vendor.
Best wishes,
Tom

I have ordered a jacket and waistcoat, a few pairs of hose, a sporran, and other accessories from them with no big problems. About the only real issue I had was the jacket not coming by the promised date, but I called them on the phone and we got that sorted. I've not ordered a kilt from them, but would not hesitate to do so, several members have with generally positive reviews.

I purchased a 16oz Isle of Skye 8yd machine sewn kilt from them last spring and absolutely love it. I have posted pics elsewhere on the forum of that. No problems with that transaction, although their communications can sometimes leave something to be desired. The same special sale of select tartan 8yd kilts is still on right now, amounting to about $180US for a machine sewn tank (if you want it in one of their limited tartan range---although this still includes the IoS).
I right now have another 8yd 13oz House of Edgar Rare and Select Muted macDonald of Glencoe on order that I hope to have in time to wear it to honor those who died at the massacre of Glencoe, the anniversary of which is Feb 13th. Will post pictures when it arrives.
Their prices right now, depending on the tartan, are pretty good as the exchange rate has dropped from 2:1 $:GBP last spring and summer to about 1.5:1.
They also do hand sewn kilts at somewhat higher prices than their machine sewn.

I've had extremely good luck with them - in fact I'm wearing an Ancient Caledonia I picked up from them about a year ago or so...

I bought my only kilt to date from them 3 years ago I bought the whole premium package pc with a few changes. My dad got his from Lawries (Hector Russell) You can't tell the difference mine was about half the price Since then I have bought 2 quaiches and 3 kilted mini skirts for my three grown daughters. In fact I went to their premises when I was in Glasgow this past October and met JP and his team. Sometimes their communication lets them down (spam filter) occasionally dumps things, if time is a premium you may look elsewhere. I would defineately use them again. Price can't be beat I would just make sure that I had sufficient lead time for it.
They operate as scottishkilts.net tartanweb irishkilts as well. They are also gaelic themes maker of kilt hose and brogues. As they are wholesalers and retailers that must help keep prices down.
btw the mini kilts were about half the price then theay were on the high streets

I just recently purchased an IOS from them, a 16oz, 8yd machine stitched. I've ordered kilt hose from them several times and the product does get to you but the communications do drag a bit. I have a Cammeron of Erracht
8yd 16 oz on order with them. I ordered the IOS from the late November, I received it late December just befor ethe Holidays, adn did not expect it til early to mid Jan. Great product for a nice price point and service is ok.
