If I win, will you take PayPal for the post charges? I'd be more than happy to help that way. BTW my feet are UK 12.5

Hey, I can use a new pair. I'm in. That's awesome of you. Thanks for the offer.

Generous offer
Although I've always wanted to learn to knit, unfortunately I've got enough on my plate at the moment as a new kilt owner.
I have to make myself a belt, pick up my altered E-Bay-score tweed jacket from the cleaners, fringe my wool hose garters, choose a knife to stain/carve as a sgian, and, if I have time, make a sporran belt so I can avoid the ignominy of using the (gasp!) chain belt that came with my inexpensive starter sporran. All before Friday, when I have the great pleasure of attending the first of two evenings of Burns-inspired revelry.
So, I wish all your knitters well, and hope against hope that I'm the lucky one.
Cheers,
John

Well I have two knitted Jacobean Bonnets that my Mother made for me, and now my wife is waiting for some instruction from Mom on how to follow the pattern for a couple of other colors (My addictions include hats, kilts, walking sticks/canes, flashlights, ...well you get the idea).
Please add me to the list, I'll have to figure out the Yahoo thing.
None of my purchased kilt hose fit very well, I have large calves. Perhaps knitted to fit is a good way to go.
Kindest Regards,
Marshal Moroni

Would you share the pattern for the hats? I would love to make a hat for myself.
