Alternative avialable
Jamie, I understand that Steve asked for opinions of those who ordered and paid for this shipment; however, there may be a win win for all involved.
If the majority of those who ordered earlier want a kilt seveaged material demand a rerun of that material. The cost has already been paid, so the only thing involved would be the additional time. To help the mill recoup the expense of their mistake offer the material on hand to the rest of the rabble at a discounted price. This way the material that has been woven will be used, the people who ordered the seveaged material get what they ordered and the mill gets paid something for their "mistake" and yards of perfectly good material does not go to waste.
I for one, would take enough for a 5 yard box pleat and a fly. As I did not know about X-marks when you all were ordering, I would hate for perfectly good material go into the trash bin, and would love to have a kilt and kit made of the same!
