I really want the Auld Lang Syne (Grey). But what I really, really lust for is MacBeth from Lochcarron of Scotland's "Heirloom" Line. A lot of grey here also. Can see it at Scottish Tartan Museum Gift shop-Special Tartans-Historic.

The Black Douglas is a grey and black tartan. It looks pretty neat, and isn't too uncommon.

So, someone bought the skirt. I'm curious, did we ever identify the tartan? I couldn't.

Ron, I can't either. I've been looking through my books and the tartan databases. I think it is a fashion tartan.

Correction, the "TRUE BLACK DOUGLAS" ( Sir James Diouglas) is this #1029 Pehaps you are refering to the Dougls Grey #1127.
