    So, do I understand that the pleat that contains the pocket is not sewn down as all the others are?

    Do your pockets cause a lifting or distortion of the pleat when your hands are in them or when they are full?

    Nice approach -- like a giant bound buttonhole.

    I've got a different design concept, still noodling around with it but will post if/when it comes to pass. Part of my problem is getting Bob to stand still for measurements and "try ons"! But considering that I have him rebuilding an entire brick planter as my birthday present, I really can't complain...
