I own several pair, two Oatmeal by the way Ham, I have to say for the money they are a good buy and will continue to recommend them to those looking for an inexpensive alternative.

I must say that I really like the way my House of Chevot Hawick hose feel and look, but again and concerning Highland attire I can not stress this enough, you simply get what you pay for. For the price the W. Brewin hose are great, when I first started wearing kilts on a daily basis the W.B. Hose gave me the opportunity to have a myriad of colours.

I don't recall seeing discussion of the Galic Theme hose recently. I get these from Scottishkilts.net and have found them to be very satisfactory.

I have been reluctant to order the W. Brewin hose mentioned here because the ones I have seen at Highland Games, etc. have seemed too light weight.

    Just my opinion.

The Brewin hose are quite thin and wear out quite quickly if worn on a daily basis, but you get what you pay for.

i had the exact same experience. I got forest green instead of navy. The green is so dark, it's almost black. So again, understandable, and they go well with my Saffron, so I kept them and am happy with them.
