Salvation Army/Goodwill Day
I just had a crazy idea.
Since a lot of folks here visit Salvation Army Stores and Goodwill Stores (these are stores that sell second hand stuff- clothes, appliances, that people donate and help employ people in need) and every now and then find a treasure in the form of a tweed or a sport jacket that can converted...
Well, wouldn't it then be fun if Xmarkers set a date, just like a kilt night, to go visit your local Goodwill or SA store and see what "treasure" you can find, say a pin or a jacket, that you can convert or use for your kilt wearing addiction. Every where in the USA and elsewhere in the world, all at the same time (give or take).
And then post a picture of your newfound "treasure" in this thread.
Anybody interested? Perhaps, one of these Saturdays? Xmarkers descending upon the SA/Goodwill stores in one day, the same day for everybody...
Get something for yourself and help others in the process...
