Jacket Conversion: Who'll do one for me?
We have a great thrift store in the area, and I've picked up some really nice tweed jackets there. I'd love to have one converted into a kilt jacket! (My own sewing skills are miniscule, and my wife is an elementary school teacher with NO spare time.)
Can I convince any of you talented folks to take on this task for me? Star?! I'm not talking about a "full" conversion with fancy cuffs and epaulettes necessarily, just altering the jacket to the right length and front "cut-away."
I'll pay cash, or trade other items.
Thanks...!
Brian

The F-H.C.A.G. is currently involved with making a new kilt for young Sinbad (she is practicing for the XMTS tartan that we will be getting soon)
Not to mention I have another jacket that needs converting!
May I suggest XMTS member vmac3205?
I believe she has done several jacket conversions for our members.
Shoot her a PM and ask her about what you would like.
Cheers

Brian,
Since you have struck a deal I am going to close this thread.
I'm sure everyone would be interested to see the completed jacket in a new thread once completed.
Cheers
